The Weybridge Collection Gold Standard
Membership in the Weybridge Collection Global Exchange Program is by invitation only. We are looking for the best quality in luxury homes in cultural destinations around the world. Our preference is for the home to have a minimum of four bedrooms except in urban areas where two bedrooms would be considered. We adhere to very rigid standards and want each home to meet these standards to assure our Members the best in travel experiences. Additional requirements are as follows:

The furnishings should be tasteful and elegant and represent the area where the home is located.

Top of the line towels and bedding with high thread-count sheets preferred.

The homes should have high speed internet service and cable television with some English channels if available in the area.

DVD and CD players are a must along with alarm clocks in all bedrooms

We prefer each bedroom to have a separate private bath.

Bathrobes and hairdryers should be provided.

The house should have a reliable handyman or maintenance person on call at all times

The house should have a reliable housekeeper or cleaning service available for daily cleaning if required. All areas must be freshened prior to arrival and cleaned after the guest leaves. The cost of the cleaning will be paid for by the homeowner. The usual or typical cleaning schedule will be maintained. If a housekeeper is there daily then daily cleaning will be provided if weekly then weekly cleaning will be provided only. The guest will be responsible for any additional charges above the standard level of service.
The house should be well-maintained.

All windows and doors should be operable, and weather-tight to prevent bugs, rodents and leaks. Exterior walls should be in good repair. There should be no peeling, chipped or deteriorated paint. Tuck pointing/mortar should be in good repair.

House numbers should be visible from the street or main access point .

The house should be free of roof leaks and should be structurally sound .

All porches/decks should be in good repair with proper railings.

Snow needs to be shoveled at all building exit doors.

All structures need to be in good repair, with operable locks.

Garrdens and yards need to be cut weeded, properly graded with no litter or debris.

Firewood should be provided in appropriate climates .

Garbage and recycling containers must be of appropriate size, clean, with lids All interior walls, floors and ceilings should be in good repair with no loose wallpaper, holes , loose plaster, peeling paint or trip hazards..

All bedrooms should have proper egress, light and ventilation. Window treatments are required along with operable smoke detectors.

All windows should be operable with secure locks, weather tight with no broken glass.

All doors should be secure, weather tight with appropriate locks and deadbolts.

The kitchen must be updated, clean with all appliances properly cleaned and in working order. Hot and cold water must be working with no dripping faucets and all drains functioning properly.

Bathrooms should be updated, clean and in good repair. Paint and caulking should be in good repair. Toilets must be functioning with no leaking faucets. Appropriate lighting and window treatments are required.

The house must contain adequate electrical service and outlets. All wiring must be properly maintained with no fire hazards.

All heating, air-conditioning and mechanical equipment must be maintained and functioning.

All plumbing must be in good repair with adequate hot and cold running water to all sinks and tubs. No leaking faucets and pipes.

Smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are required.

The outside entrance should be lit and exterior lighting provided for safety and security.

Alarm systems must be operable with codes provided.

Laundry facilities must be provided.

The house must be free all pests and rodents.

The house should have a list of detailed instructions available in the house along with a list of experiences that the guest would enjoy including side trip, special events, recommended local restaurants and favorite attractions.

The house should be inspected prior to each guest with special attention given to clean bedding, dusting, cleaning and sanitizing the bathrooms and kitchen.

Directions to the house and to the nearest airport should be provided on the Weybridge Collection website

Check-in and check-out procedures should be provided along with how keys are given to the guest. A lockbox might be a good idea if staff is not available.

A list of emergency contacts must be provided. The name of a good local doctor and hospital should be included.

Instructions to all appliances, electronics, remote controls, thermostats etc. must be provided.

Instructions to all gate and alarm codes must be provided.
